Ama Doo Alchini Bighan, Inc. or ADABI is a private, non-profit, community-based domestic violence and sexual assault crisis intervention program headquartered in Chinle, Ariz., on the Navajo Nation. 

 

ADABI provides advocacy, prevention, and safe home network programs.  They serve victims of intimate partner violence in the Chinle Agency and surrounding areas of the Navajo Nation. 

 

Services are culturally sensitive, respectful, free of discrimination against race, religion, culture and sexual orientation. 

 

ADABI is one of a few domestic violence shelters for women, children & men on the Navajo Nation, which is located in northern Arizona, western New Mexico, and southwestern Utah.

 

Things, i.e.:  personal hygiene items, sun glasses, pampers (size 4 & 5), baby wipes, toiletries for clients, and other basic needs are welcome.

 

Gift cards or checks payable to ADABI, are also welcome.  ADABI is a 501(c)3 organization.
