Zonta International, District 9 includes Zonta clubs in the states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.
For nearly a century, Zonta clubs in our region have brought together volunteers with a passion for improving the lives of women and girls through community service and advocacy.
District 9 is governed by a board of directors, elected at a biennial conference.
The board serves as a liaison between Zonta International and the Zonta clubs.
Our committees carry out work related to finances, governance, service and advocacy, public relations
and much more.
Zonta clubs are located in and around some of our region's largest cities and also in smaller locales.

The first Zonta club in District 9 was chartered in Los Angeles in 1923. This video, produced in 2011, tells the story of our growth and our challenges as we approached 100 years of service and advocacy
for women. To learn more about our history, download these pdfs.
